Jun Yu began their career in 2000 as a Senior Research Specialist at the University of New Orleans and Seagate Technology. In 2002, they moved to Seagate Technology as a Post Doctoral Researcher. In 2004, they transferred to Michigan State University as a Post Doctoral Researcher. Finally, in 2011, they joined Dynamics Inc as a Magnetics Engineer and later became a Sr. Magnetics Engineer.
Jun Yu received their BS in Physics from Fudan University in 1994, and then went on to earn their Doctor of Philosophy in Physics from New York University in 2000.
