Erik Lykken

Principal Scientist at Dyno Therapeutics

Erik Lykken is a highly qualified scientist with extensive experience in the biotechnology and academic sectors. Currently serving as Principal Scientist at Dyno Therapeutics since June 2021, Erik leads the Vector Production Team. Prior roles include Quality Control Group Lead at UT Southwestern Medical Center, where Erik oversaw assay development for cGMP batch releases, and Process Development Science Lead, focusing on manufacturing processes for gene therapies. Erik’s background also includes a postdoctoral research associate position at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Ph.D. in Immunology from Duke University, where significant contributions were made in the research of microRNA and T lymphocyte development. Erik has demonstrated leadership in course development and scientific writing initiatives during earlier academic appointments.
