Kathy Lin

Principal Scientist, Computational Biology at Dyno Therapeutics

Kathy is a computational biologist with expertise in machine learning and RNA biology. She completed her PhD in the Computational and Systems Biology program at MIT under David Bartel, where she developed biochemically informed models of miRNA targeting. Uing high-throughput measurements of miRNA-target binding affinities in vitro, she modeled miRNA-mediated repression in vivo and built a machine learning framework for predicting miRNA-target binding affinities from sequence. Her work has been published in leading journals, including Science and Molecular Cell. She enjoys board games, video games, and cooking.
