Eric Hopmann has extensive work experience in the textile industry. Eric began their career in 1991 as a Development Manager at Hoechst Indonesia. Eric then moved to Hoechst Taiwan in 1992, where they served as the Department Manager Textiles. In 1995, Eric joined DyStar South Africa as the Managing Director. Eric held this position until 2000, when they became the Managing Director at DyStar. Eric continued to advance within the company, serving as the Président Europe from 2010 to 2014, and then as the Chief Executive Officer from 2014 until their current role as Chief Commercial Officer.
Eric Hopmann attended Ecole Europeenne de Bruxelles from 1968 to 1972, where they received a Baccalaureat in Economics. Eric then went on to study at Europaeisches Studien Bereich (ESB) Reutlingen from 1982 to 1984, earning a BA degree in Economy. Later, from 1984 to 1986, they attended Centre d'etudes Superieures et Europeennes de Management (CESEM), where they obtained another BA in Economy.
