Hugh Pelham has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Hugh currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at DYWIDAG since April 2022. Prior to this, they were the Director at Dark Blue Holdings Limited starting from July 2017. Between January 2021 and October 2021, Hugh worked as the Chief Executive Officer at Carr's Group plc. Earlier in their career, they were the Global President of Minova - Ground Support Services at Orica from January 2018 to December 2020. Before that, they held the position of President/Managing Director at Wood Group Industrial Services from April 2002 to July 2017. Hugh also served as a Director at Johnson Controls from April 2000 to March 2002 and as a Regional Director at John Mowlem & Company Plc from June 1997 to March 2000.
Hugh Pelham attended St Edward's School in Oxford from 1980 to 1985. Hugh then went on to study at the University of Oxford from 1986 to 1989, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Engineering, Economics & Management. Later, in 1994 and 1995, they pursued a Master of Business Administration degree at Cranfield School of Management.
