Vladimir Astinov

Vladimir Astinov is an accomplished professional in the optical and telecommunications sectors with extensive experience in product line management and optical systems design. Currently serving as the Director of Product Line Management at DZS since March 2024, Vladimir oversees the Optical Transport portfolio for Edge and Metro networks. Previously, as the Optical Networks Products Line Manager at ATX Networks Corp. from August 2019 to December 2023, responsibilities included managing the optical product line for Access/HFC networks. Vladimir also held key roles at LightMachinery, Lumentum/JDSU, Alcatel-Lucent, Nortel, and conducted research at prestigious institutions, including the University of Toronto and Sofia University. Vladimir holds a PhD degree from Sofia University and a postdoctoral research degree in femtosecond laser spectroscopy from the University of Toronto.
