Oliver was previously the Chief Information Officer at the Provincial Health Services Authority and the University of British Columbia. Grüter-Andrew has also held positions at the German Canadian Benevolent Society, Indigena Solutions, BCNET, Western Management Consultants, and Accenture, where they served in various roles and worked on IT transformation projects for companies including Best Buy Canada, BC Hydro, and Terasen Gas.
Oliver Grüter-Andrew completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Physics at the Royal Holloway, University of London from 1989 to 1992.
