Jo Golder

Jo Golder is an experienced finance professional with a robust career spanning over three decades in various finance roles. Currently serving as Finance Manager at the City of Wolverhampton Council since October 2020, Jo leads a team of three accountants, ensuring the delivery of exceptional service across multiple frontline services while complying with statutory requirements. Prior to this role, experience was gained as a Senior Accountancy Officer at Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council from May 2013 to October 2020, where responsibilities included reporting financial results to elected councillors and supporting operational quality. Additionally, Jo spent 20 years at RAC in Reporting and Consolidation, focusing on financial support, guidance, and reconciliation of complex data. Jo holds an Associate Chartered Accountant degree in Accounting and Finance from Kaplan Business School.
