Tshilidzi Matlala, CFA, is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Chief Portfolio Officer at E Squared Investments since July 2022. Prior to this role, Tshilidzi held multiple positions at the Industrial Development Corporation from February 2008 to July 2022, including Senior Dealmaker in Energy, New Industries, and Venture Capital, as well as Business Analyst in Venture Capital. Earlier experience includes a Junior Consultant role at Investec from May 2006 to January 2008 and a Credit Risk Manager position at Standard Bank Group from February 2004 to April 2006. Tshilidzi holds a Venture Capital Executive Programme certificate from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Chemical Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand.
