Shin Chen

Shin Chen is an accomplished investor and entrepreneur with a strong focus on AI/ML and innovative technologies. Currently serving as an Investor at E14 Fund since June 2025, Shin is involved in backing early-stage founders transforming industries. As a Co-Founder of 1943 since October 2024, Shin fosters collaboration among AI/ML researchers, industry experts, and founders. Previously, Shin has held investment roles at Race Capital and worked as a Venture Fellow at Berkeley SkyDeck, where the venture journey began. Additionally, Shin co-founded Peek, specializing in interactive VR tours, and is pursuing an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, following a prior education at China Europe International Business School.
