Cliff Herbst

Cliff Herbst is an accomplished registered professional engineer and executive with over 42 years of experience in project management, project engineering, and plant operations and maintenance. Currently serving as Executive Director at E3 Consulting since 2008, Cliff Herbst specializes in conducting due diligence investigations and advisory services for operating power plants. Prior roles include Site Manager at Day & Zimmerman, NPS, where Cliff Herbst managed maintenance contracts for generating stations, and President & Owner of MEC Engineering Consulting Services, PC, focusing on mechanical and electrical systems design and construction. Earlier experience encompasses serving as Vice President at Hauser Bros., Inc., and Plant Manager at Orange & Rockland Utilities, Inc., overseeing large-scale power generation facilities. Cliff Herbst holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical, Power Generation and a Post Graduate Certificate of Special Study in Power Generation, both from Stevens Institute of Technology.
