Gariot P. Louima

Gariot P. Louima serves as the Vice President for Strategic and Diversity Initiatives at Earlham College since October 2021, acting as a cabinet-level advisor to the president and the college's senior diversity officer. Previously, Gariot held multiple roles at Antioch College, including Senior Associate Vice President and Vice President for Enrollment and Student Success. Additional experience encompasses positions such as Dean at Goddard College and Director of Communications at Broward College. Gariot's extensive background in higher education administration is complemented by a solid foundation in journalism, having worked as a writer for notable publications like The Palm Beach Post and the Los Angeles Times. Gariot holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Miami and several advanced degrees, including a Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Studies from Union Institute & University, along with training in Lean Six Sigma from the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst.
