Carly Beneke

Carly Beneke currently serves as Vice President of Insights at EarthDaily Analytics, a position held since October 2024. Prior to this role, Carly was with Descartes Labs from October 2016 to October 2024, where responsibilities included leading applied science efforts and overseeing product and customer success strategies for mineral exploration and risk management lines of business. Carly's earlier career included roles at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where methodology development and machine learning pipelines were key focuses, as well as consulting for The World Bank on urban development projects. Carly also contributed to remote sensing initiatives as a Contract Remote Sensing Scientist and gained experience at the United States Geological Survey through contract IT services. Academically, Carly holds a Master of Science in Cartography and Geographic Information Systems and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography, both from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
