Thomas Finnegan is a seasoned engineering professional currently serving as a Sr. Controls Engineer in Development at EarthGrid PBC since November 2024. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Technical Project Manager at Tesla from July 2021 to June 2024, where leadership was provided for the development of automation systems for the 4680 battery program, overseeing large-scale projects and a team of 40 global engineers. Previously, Thomas worked at ABB from June 2015 to July 2021 as a Sr. Controls Project Engineer, successfully delivering a high-speed glue dispense system for Ford's eRotor line and achieving significant cycle time reductions. Thomas holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Technology from Illinois State University, earned in May 2015.
