Michelle currently holds the role of Senior Director Primary Care & Community Services at NL Health Services, where Michelle is responsible for overseeing patient flow and access. Michelle has extensive experience in various leadership roles at Eastern Health, including Director Clinical Efficiency, Division Manager Central Intake, and Director of Mental Health & Addictions. Michelle also worked as a Clinical Social Worker in Acute Care Social Work. Michelle holds a Master's in Health Management from McMaster University, a Bachelor of Social Work from McGill University, and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Acadia University.

As of April 1, 2023, all regional health authorities and the Newfoundland and Labrador Centre for Health Information are transitioning to a single provincial health authority. _________ Eastern Health is the largest, integrated health authority in Newfoundland and Labrador employing approximately 13,000 dedicated employees, over 700 medical staff, and is supported by more than 2,000 volunteers, including members of numerous auxiliaries and fundraising foundations.
