Alex Reed

Alex Reed has extensive experience in data engineering and management, currently serving as IT Manager for Engineering at Eastridge Workforce Solutions since July 2021, where responsibilities include developing corporate data strategies and maintaining data infrastructure. Previously, Alex held roles as a Senior Data Engineer and Data Engineer at Eastridge, as well as a Financial Data Engineer at Vitol, where innovative ETL pipelines were created using big data tools. Alex also contributed to Petco as a Senior Data Scientist, enhancing the grooming business through advanced data analysis. Early career experiences include financial analyst roles at Qualcomm and Petco, along with internships in finance and marketing at Avondale Asset Management and UBS. Alex holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from UCLA and an Associate's Degree in Economics from San Diego Miramar College.
