With a background in mechanical engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia, Ellis has held positions ranging from product engineer to chief engineer at companies like Cooper Lighting, VanSco Products, and Thermador. Ellis' expertise includes exploring new technologies and materials, designing adhesive application systems, and even designing and driving a high-powered funny car. Each role has allowed Ellis to develop a diverse skill set in areas such as tooling, fabrication, and manufacturing engineering.
