Thomas Nelson has five years of work experience. In 2021, they began working as a Software Developer at eBacon. In 2020, they worked as a Front-End Web Developer at Neoboard, where they built and maintained a React-based frontend, integrated a custom Restful API, and constructed widely reused components. Thomas also volunteered as a Full-Stack Web Developer at Hack for LA in 2020. From 2015 to 2017, they were an Undergraduate Student at the University of California, Riverside, where they communicated with professionals in the industry, designed fundraising events, and constructed presentations for club meetings. During this time, they also interned at the U.S. Department of State, where they constructed a paperless workflow for procurement actions, created more practical spreadsheets and databases for the Customer Service Center, and designed surveys and filmed/edited videos of residences for the Housing section.
Thomas Nelson obtained a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of California, Riverside in 2019. In February 2020, they completed The Coding Boot Camp at the same institution.
