Rami El-Charif

Rami El-Charif is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in infrastructure engineering and technical operations. Currently serving as VP of Infrastructure Engineering at eBay since May 2017, Rami previously held a prominent role as Technical Fellow, focusing on platform and infrastructure at eBay from 2003 to 2015, where Rami advanced through various leadership positions including Sr. Director of Engineering and Director of Systems Architecture. Prior to eBay, Rami was a Sr. Software Engineer at Half.com and held the role of VP of Technical Operations at deja.com, previously known as Dejanews. Rami began a professional career as a Software Engineer in Paris, France, and possesses degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics from The University of Texas at Austin.
