As a new immigrant to Canada from Germany, Helmut Eppich, Chairman, founded Ebco Industries in 1956 as a small Tool and Die shop. Over 52 years ago that Tool and Die shop became the birthplace of Ebco, which has now become an association of companies that specialize in the custom manufacturing of metallic based products and components. Inspectors are also certified by the Canadian Government Inspection Board in Non-destructive testing techniques, as well as AWS and CWB welding inspector techniques. Our inspectors are responsible for the supervision of sub-contracted radiographic and ultrasonic inspections of welds. For pressure vessels, we adhere to the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel code, and as an ASME certificate holder, we can apply the U and U2 stamps.
