Aoife McMahon is the Genetic Data Platform Project Lead and Scientific Curator at European Bioinformatics Institute | EMBL-EBI. Prior to this, Aoife worked as a Post Doctoral Research Scientist at Brandeis University, National Center for Behavioral Genomics where Aoife investigated post-transcriptional modes of gene regulation in neurons. Aoife holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Neurobiology from The University of Edinburgh and a Master's Degree in Life Sciences. Additionally, Aoife obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry from University College Cork.
