Dirk Van Roost

Dirk Van Roost is a seasoned finance executive with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multinational corporations. Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at eCarsTrade since October 2023, Dirk previously held the same title at sentiance, where responsibilities included managing the finance function for global operations. Additional roles include spearheading decarbonization projects at BASF as a CCS Venture Builder, establishing a startup structure at Chemster GmbH as Managing Director & CFO/COO, and executing portfolio management and strategic initiatives during a tenure at BASF in various capacities. Dirk's early career involved significant contributions in strategy consulting at Booz & Company and General Electric, alongside analytical roles at ExxonMobil. Dirk holds an MBA in Finance & Strategy from INSEAD and an M.S. in Economics & Engineering, specializing in International Finance, from the University of Antwerp.
