Chris Lyons has a diverse work experience, primarily in the education and language sector. From 2005 to 2007, they worked as the Manager of the Foreign Languages Department at inlingua Cheltenham. In 2007, they joined Ecctis Ltd and took on various roles, including Senior Business Analyst from November 2007 to December 2009. Chris then held positions at UK NARIC, starting as the Head of Business Development Group from January to December 2010. Chris subsequently served as the Head of Commercial Business from January 2011 to July 2012, Head of Information Development from August 2012 to September 2015, and Head of Research & Data Group from September 2015 to March 2020. Most recently, they have been working at Ecctis Ltd as the Head of External Engagement, starting in March 2020.

Chris Lyons received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in French with Language Studies from Cardiff University/Prifysgol Caerdydd from 1992 to 1998. Later, from 2010 to 2012, they pursued an MA degree in Applied Linguistics from the University of Nottingham.
