Makoto Ishijima

Makoto Ishijima is currently the Head of Engineering at Echo IQ (ASX:EIQ) since June 2023. Previously, Makoto served as Tech Lead at BeMovedApp from May 2022 to June 2023 and as a Backend Software Engineer at Wagestream between December 2020 and March 2022. Prior roles include Software Development Manager at Edval Timetables, CRM Developer at Squiz, and Senior Solutions Developer at CMC Insurance Solutions. Early in the career, Makoto worked as a Web Developer at Spinifex Group and Tonic, and as an Applications Engineer at Oracle Corporation. Makoto began professional experience as a Technical Consultant at RuleBurst/Haley. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Computer Science in Software Engineering from BINUS University and studies at Victoria University of Wellington.
