Daniel Chastanet is a skilled professional with extensive experience in data management and scientific research. Currently serving as a Data Manager at Echosens since November 2022, Daniel previously held a postdoctoral fellowship at the Technical University of Denmark, focusing on the growth and characterization of nanowires and quantum dots. Daniel earned a PhD in Physics from Paris-Sud University, where research involved developing new compact sources for mid-infrared applications. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Quantum Devices and Nanomaterials from Université Paris Cité and a data scientist certification from OpenClassrooms in partnership with CentralSupélec. Daniel has contributed to various research projects through internships that included significant work on optical bistability, mid-infrared laser characterization, and neutrino detection.
