Sara Gallian is a Software Defined Vehicle Program Manager at Eclipse Foundation since October 2022, where engagement with the SDV working group’s Steering Committee and Community focuses on defining and executing the global strategy for SDV. Prior experience includes roles as Engineering Group Manager for Intelligent Mobility at FEV Italia s.r.l. and Group Lead at Continental, overseeing advanced driver-assistance systems. Earlier positions involved team leadership and development engineering roles at KROHNE Group, alongside academic experiences as a Research Assistant at Ruhr University Bochum and Graduate Student and Teaching Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Sara Gallian holds a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Ruhr University Bochum and multiple degrees in Aerospace and Electrical Engineering from prestigious institutions in Italy and the USA.
