Gilad Shoham

Gilad Shoham serves as the Director of Mechanical Engineering at ecobee since May 2025, previously holding the position of Senior Director of Engineering at Cortex Design from January 2024 to May 2025, where leadership in design and engineering for ISO-13485 regulated medical product development was emphasized. Shoham has extensive experience in industrial design and mechanical engineering roles at Nymi, Fio Corporation, and as an instructor at OCAD University. Additional contributions include co-founding Medonyx Inc. and participating in the development of innovative medical products at the Centre for Studies in Aging, with a foundational education in Industrial Design from the Rhode Island School of Design.
