Scott Edmonds is a seasoned professional in economic consulting, currently serving as Managing Consultant at Economic Consulting Associates since October 2014, with a progression through various roles including Senior Consultant, Consultant, and Analyst. ECA’s senior staff have many years’ experience of carrying out economic and policy analysis in the UK and worldwide. We provide structured and analytical solutions to problems in the infrastructure sectors. Our advice combines the application of economic principles and industry knowledge with best international practice and is complemented by rigorous quantitative modelling capability. ECA’s work ranges across a number of fields but with a particular emphasis on policy development, economic and financial analysis, the design of institutional and legal frameworks, market design and advising on the regulation of infrastructure sectors. Our experience has traditionally been strongest in the electricity, gas and water sectors but we also have highly relevant experience in multi-sector work including telecoms and transport. We have undertaken more than 600 assignments in over 70 countries around the world.
