Eben Lombard is an accomplished leader in the metals and mining industry with extensive experience in operations management and strategic development across various companies. Currently serving as the General Manager at EcoPlanet Bamboo since June 2024, Eben previously held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Sierra Rutile Limited, where responsibilities encompassed engineering, safety, and IT services. Notable roles include Production Manager at Minopex, overseeing the successful commissioning of a major copper and cobalt project, and key positions at Welding Alloys Group and Metorex, responsible for sales strategy and processing operations, respectively. Eben's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Metallurgy from the University of Pretoria, an MBA from the University of the Free State, and a certificate in Financial Management from Stellenbosch University.

EcoPlanet Bamboo is driving the reforestation agenda with a global portfolio of bamboo projects.
