Varun Bhagat

Varun Bhagat is a Senior Engineer in Research and Development at Ecoppia, specializing in the design and optimization of robotic systems for solar plants utilizing CAD and FEA tools since September 2022. Previously, Varun served as a Project Engineer at Asun Trackers Pvt Ltd., where leadership of the design team and management of solar projects were key responsibilities, focusing on 2-axis solar tracker structures with FEA and CFD tools from March 2021 to October 2022. Varun gained valuable experience as a Project Associate at IIT Madras Research Park, handling Conjugate Heat Transfer simulations and mechanical design for electric motors and battery modules from June 2019 to December 2020. Earlier in career, Varun was a Design Engineer at Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, contributing to the design of aircraft components and leading the Ground Test department from June 2009 to May 2014. Academic credentials include a B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee.
