Jesse Weiss

Jesse Weiss is an experienced professional in economic development and urban planning, currently serving as the Assistant Vice President for Green Economy at the New York City Economic Development Corporation since September 2024. Prior to this role, Jesse held various positions at Bennett Midland, including Senior Manager, where partnerships were established with local governments, nonprofits, and foundations to enhance organizational effectiveness on initiatives for notable clients such as the NYC Mayor's Office and Bloomberg Philanthropies. Experience also includes being an Associate Developer at Pennrose, managing all phases of affordable housing development projects, and earlier roles as a Consultant and Senior Associate at Bennett Midland, a Field Organizer for Adam Haber for State Senate, and a Policy Intern at Enterprise Community Partners. Jesse earned a Master of City Planning from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Michigan.
