Manodeep's earlier experience includes Manager - Sales & Distribution at HDFC Mutual Fund (June 2006 to December 2006), Business Development Manager positions at Franklin Templeton Investments in Mumbai (June 2004 to August 2006) and Kolkata (August 2005 to June 2006), and Assistant Manager at IL&FS Mutual Fund in Mumbai (February 2002 to June 2004). Manodeep began their career as an Executive at GFC Capital in New Delhi (May 2001 to February 2002).
Manodeep Lahiri obtained a PGDBF degree in Business Finance from IIF during the period of 1999 to 2001. Prior to that, they completed their B.Com degree from the University of Calcutta from 1995 to 1998. In addition to their formal education, Manodeep holds certifications in MCSE as a Certified Professional in Windows NT4 obtained from an unspecified institution, and a Software Diploma from NIIT, Kolkata.
