Shikha Sood has an extensive work experience in the financial industry. Shikha started their career at Deloitte Haskins and Sells as a Senior Associate from August 2010 to August 2013. Shikha then joined KEC International Ltd. as a Management Trainee in Treasury, working from October 2013 to May 2014. Shikha later joined CEAT Limited as a Manager in Financial Planning and Analysis from June 2014 to May 2015. Shikha then worked at CRISIL as an Executive Assistant to the CFO from May 2015 to January 2017. Shikha then moved to IDFC Asset Management Company Limited, where they held two roles. Firstly, they worked as a Business Planning Manager in the CEO Office from January 2017 to March 2019. Later, they served as an Associate Vice President for Products, specializing in Alternatives, Passives, and International Business from April 2019 to May 2023. Currently, Shikha is working at Edelweiss Asset Management Limited as the Vice President and Lead for Mutual Fund Products since May 2023.
Shikha Sood has a strong educational background in the field of finance and accounting. Shikha started their academic journey at St. Louis Convent High School in Mumbai, where they completed their primary and secondary education.
After completing their schooling, Shikha went on to pursue a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree at Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics from 2007 to 2012. During this time, they focused on studying accounting and finance.
Following their undergraduate studies, Shikha enrolled in The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and obtained the degree of Chartered Accountant from 2009 to 2013. This program further enhanced their knowledge in the areas of accounting and finance.
To expand their expertise in investments and securities, Shikha pursued the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) program at the CFA Institute (USA) from 2012 to 2016. Shikha successfully cleared all levels of the CFA exams, reinforcing their understanding of investments and securities.
In addition to their formal education, Shikha obtained a certification in BSE certified financial modeling and advanced Excel course from EduPristine. The details regarding the institution, month, and year of completion for this certification are not provided.
