Head Of Energy Economics at EDF Energy

Matt Levenston is currently the Energy Economics Lead at EDF (UK), where Matt provides strategic insight and analysis for senior leaders on market, commercial, and regulatory developments across the sector. Prior to their current role, Matt worked at DNV GL as the Head of Section for Project Development, leading a team of engineers providing services to Nordic onshore and UK offshore wind markets. Matt also has experience as an Analyst in project development for wind farms in various markets such as Sub-Saharan Africa, UK, Ireland, India, and Nordic markets. Matt holds a MSci, BA (Hons) in Natural Sciences (Experimental and Theoretical Physics) from the University of Cambridge.
