Rory Dunne is a highly skilled technical engineer with extensive experience in the nuclear and engineering sectors. Currently serving as Technical Engineering Lead at EDF (UK) since March 2023, Rory focuses on piping for the Nuclear New Build programme and leads a sub-team while managing graduates and placement students. Prior to this, Rory worked at Frazer-Nash Consultancy as Senior Engineer and Engineer in the EDF TSA Safety and Process Engineering team, and held a secondment as Piping Technical Engineering Lead at EDF. Rory began the career as a Graduate Engineer at Atkins, contributing to an innovative risk-based structure inspection programme. Previous roles include Utilities Support Engineer at ExxonMobil and various positions in hospitality and education settings. Rory holds a Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering with Industrial Study from the University of Birmingham and completed A Levels in Maths, Chemistry, and Physics at Kingston Grammar School.
