Clotilde Fourmy has a diverse work experience in the field of tax, customs, and trade compliance. Clotilde started their career at Airbus SAS as a Tax and Customs trainee in 2002, followed by a role as an International Tax/Finance trainee at AXA Investment Managers in 2004. From 2006 to 2009, Clotilde worked as an International VAT and Customs specialist (Lawyer) at Landwell & Associés, PwC, Paris. Clotilde then joined PricewaterhouseCoopers Switzerland as an International VAT and Customs specialist from 2009 to 2010.
Clotilde continued to expand their expertise in indirect taxes and customs at Landwell from 2010 to 2012, where they served as an Indirect Taxes Manager (Lawyer). Clotilde then joined Dow AgroSciences as an International Trade Operations Specialist (Customs/VAT/Compliance) from 2014 to 2015.
In 2015, Clotilde joined ED&F Man, where they held various roles. Clotilde started as an EU INDIRECT TAX COMPLIANCE (VAT, CUSTOMS & IMPORT/EXPORT LICENCING) MANAGER, responsible for VAT compliance, liaising with EU tax and customs authorities, and ensuring EU regulations are observed. In 2016, they became the EU Trading (INF5/IPR - Physical sugar) and Compliance Manager, where they provided VAT/indirect tax advice, handled tax compliance and audits, and managed various projects related to customs and VAT regimes.
Throughout their career, Clotilde has gained expertise in VAT, customs, trade compliance, and project management, and has actively participated in conferences and training seminars. Clotilde'smost recent position at ED&F Man is as a Sugar Trader and Head of Trade Compliance, where they oversee trade compliance and ensures adherence to regulations.
Clotilde Fourmy has pursued their education at NEOMA Business School, where they obtained a post-master's degree in Legal Management. Additionally, they completed their Master's degree in Indirect Tax Laws at the Université de Rouen. The duration of their studies and the specific years of attendance are not provided.
