Gustavo Marques is a professional with a strong background in trading, particularly in the sugar market. Currently a Futures and Derivatives Trader and Sugar Trader at ED&F Man since March 2019, Gustavo specializes in trading physical sugar with Brazilian producers while managing credit and counterparty risk. Additionally, Gustavo monitors macroeconomic scenarios and market opportunities. Previous experience includes an intensive Trader Trainee program at ED&F Man, which spanned 18 months and provided extensive training across various departments. Before this, Gustavo served as a Sourcing Intern at GE Power and a Commercial Intern at Aboissa Commodity Brokers. Gustavo holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie and completed an English course at New Zealand Language Centres.
