Mariema Lopez Armienta has over 20 years of experience in finance and accounting roles. Mariema started their career at DuPont as a GCAP Coordinator, later progressing to Finance Coordinator and Business Analyst, where they were responsible for financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting. Mariema then joined BSI as a Finance Manager, overseeing all financial activities in Mexico and managing a team of 5. After that, they worked at ECOM Trading as the International Controller and then as the Mexico Corporate Controller, where they oversaw accounting operations and financial reporting for a group of companies specializing in commodities trading. Currently, Mariema is the Finance Director at ED&F Man.
Mariema Lopez Armienta obtained a degree in Accounting from Universidad La Salle, A.C. from 1991 to 1996. Later, in 2012, they completed IFRS Certified Training at Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México, specializing in IFRS.
