Robert Halls has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Robert started their career in 2002 with a university work placement at Barclays Global Investors, followed by a university work placement at Lehman Brothers in 2004. Robert then joined PricewaterhouseCoopers Corporate Finance in London as an Executive, where they gained experience in lead advisory, buy-side and sell-side transactions, and provided strategic advice to clients in various sectors.

In 2005, Robert transitioned to the London CF team of PricewaterhouseCoopers Corporate Finance as an Executive, continuing their work in lead advisory roles and strategic advice for private equity, private, and public company clients.

Moving on, Robert joined PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Manager in the Corporate Finance team located in Sydney, Australia, where they focused on lead advisory services for financial services, industrial products, and retail sectors. Robert later became an Assistant Director in the London Corporate Finance team, leading advisory services in business services, financial services, industrial products, and retail sectors.

In 2013, Robert joined HSS Hire as the Group Finance Strategy & Investor Relations Manager, overseeing corporate development opportunities, including acquisitions, joint ventures, and market analysis. Robert also played a role in securing a senior secured notes issue. Robert later took on the role of Corporate Development Manager, with responsibilities for identifying, assessing, and progressing corporate development opportunities.

In 2017, Robert joined ED&F Man as the Senior Manager for Global Commodities Business Development. Robert later became the Head of M&A - Divestments, where they were tasked with driving M&A activity and focusing on existing investments in Mexico, Chile, Ukraine, and Israel. Robert successfully completed various strategic initiatives, including the extension and re-negotiation of a joint venture agreement, challenging and enhancing commercialization strategies, recommending the exit of a legacy investment, and completing the sale of an international investment in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Robert Halls completed their A levels in Physics, Mathematics, Geography, and German at Havant Sixth Form College from 1999 to 2001. Robert then went on to pursue a BSc in Business Administration at the University of Bath from 2001 to 2005. In 2004, they participated in an academic exchange program at the University of Virginia, focusing on Commerce. Following this, Halls obtained a FCA qualification in 2008 from ICAEW. In 2015, they received a Certificate of Investor Relations (CIR) from the Investor Relations Society.
