Rayfe Gaspar-Asaoka

Rayfe Gaspar-Asaoka is a Partner at Geodesic Capital, leading the Alliance Fund with a focus on early-stage investments in deep tech sectors, including AI, national security, space, autonomous systems, semiconductors, and energy since May 2025. Prior to this role, Rayfe held the position of Partner at Canaan from September 2015 to May 2025, where significant investments were made in technology and healthcare. Rayfe has also been involved as a board member for several companies, including Enterpret, Tropic, Fireflies.ai, Apex.AI, and EDGE Impulse, and served as a board observer for Kepler Communications Inc. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California, complemented by a high school diploma from Iolani School.
