Simon Segars

Simon Segars has extensive experience in leadership and advisory roles across multiple technology and venture firms. Currently, Segars serves as a Board Member at Vodafone and Dolby Laboratories, and as Chairperson at Silicon Quantum Computing. Additionally, Segars acts as an Executive Advisor at Black Opal Ventures and a Senior Adviser at Permira, contributing to various organizations in strategic capacities. Previous roles include Board Member positions with Edge Impulse, the Electronic System Design Alliance, and the Global Semiconductor Alliance, as well as a significant tenure at Arm, where Segars held various leadership roles including CEO and President. Segars holds an MSc in Computer Science from The University of Manchester and a BEng in Electronic Engineering from the University of Sussex.
