Gary Avery

Gary Avery is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software architecture and system design, currently serving as EdgeOS Software Architect at EdgeConneX since February 2016. Previously, Gary held senior engineering and leadership roles at Blackbird Technologies, BSG Clearing, Infowave Software, Telispark, Wireless World Solutions, Iridium, and Bell Communications Research. Significant contributions include the development and architectural oversight of various product lines, such as mobile enterprise applications and payment systems, and the implementation of open-source alternatives to reduce operational costs. Gary holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Clarkson University.
