Dominic O'Kane

Dominic O'Kane is a Professor of Finance at EDHEC Business School since September 2007, with expertise in financial derivatives, derivative market regulation, asset pricing, and risk management. Prior to this role, Dominic served as a Consulting Expert at Global Financial Experts Limited from April 2017 to March 2020, focusing on expert litigation related to financial derivatives and notable cases such as the Libor manipulation and Lehman Bankruptcy. Earlier in the career, Dominic held the position of Managing Director and Head of Quantitative Research at Lehman Brothers (1997-2006), where responsibilities included developing proprietary trading models and enhancing the synthetic CDO business. Dominic's experience also includes a role as an Interest Rate Valuation and Risk Quant at Salomon Brothers and as a Post Doctoral Researcher at Imperial College London. Dominic earned a D.Phil. in Theoretical Physics from the University of Oxford and a B.Sc. in Physics from Imperial College London.
