Sam Nichols is a Software Engineer II and Full Stack Developer at Edilytics since January 2022. Previously, held the role of Back End Developer at TCN from November 2021 to February 2022. Prior to that, served as a Software Engineer at Brigham Young University from August 2020 to October 2021, where they worked on managing financial data using Peoplesoft. Currently pursuing a Master of Science in Bioinformatics at The Johns Hopkins University, after receiving a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Brigham Young University.

Genome editing is transforming the way biological science is done and accelerating medical breakthroughs. CRISPR technology has reduced the barrier to creating predictable changes to DNA, encouraging scientific investigators and entrepreneurs to adopt and use the technology. However, robust and rigorous computational tools are critical for the correct analysis, interpretation and verification of biological results. We build precision algorithms for analyzing genome editing experimental data, and provide customized computational support to address critical questions in the processing of next-generation sequencing data.
