Prof. Gary Hutchison

Prof. Gary Hutchison is a prominent academic with extensive experience in the field of nano safety and toxicology. Since September 2007, Prof. Hutchison has served as Dean of Life, Sport & Social Sciences and Director of the Centre for Nano Safety at Edinburgh Napier University. Prior to this role, Prof. Hutchison worked at the Medical Research Council from September 2004 to September 2007 as a Career Development Fellow, where the focus was also on advancing research in related disciplines. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Particle Toxicology and a Master of Science in Drug Design and Biomedical Science from Edinburgh Napier University, alongside a Bachelor's degree with Honors in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Stirling.
