Fabio Catalano has extensive work experience in the finance and accounting field. Fabio started their career at Mazars Group as a Stager in 1997. Later, they worked as a Reserve Officer at GUARDIA DI FINANZA until 1999. In 1999, they joined Edison SpA, where they held various roles including Accounting & Control - Junior Analyst, Financial analyst hydrocarbon sector, New Projects & Companies Evaluation, Business Planning & Controlling Responsible, Group Planning & Controlling Manager, and Group Planning/Controlling Manager & Head of Business Planning. From 2017 to 2020, Fabio served as the Head of Accounting & Tax - Gas midstream Edison Spa, responsible for financial statements and tax for Edison Spa. In 2020, they became the Chief Executive Officer of Edison International Holding N.V. and a Member of the Board of Directors at ELPEDISON S.A. Additionally, in 2023, they became the Head of Finance - Sustainability Coordination at Edison SpA.

Fabio Catalano's education history begins with a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Commerce from the University of Bari, which they obtained from 1993 to 1997. Fabio then pursued an Executive Course in Finance, Administration, and Control from SDA Bocconi between 1999 and 2000.
