Hui Li

Hui Li has extensive work experience in the field of gene editing and molecular biology. They currently hold the position of Director at Editas Medicine. Prior to this, they worked at Precision BioSciences, Inc. as an Associate Director and later as a Team Leader. At Precision BioSciences, they led various research efforts focused on AAV capsid engineering, AAV immunogenicity reduction, and the production of gene therapies. Before joining Precision BioSciences, Hui Li worked as a Research Scientist at Northeast Ohio Medical University and held research positions at the University of Washington and Penn State University.

Hui Li holds a Ph.D in Biochemistry and Bioengineering, which they obtained from Penn State University between the years 1999 and 2005. Prior to this, they completed their Master's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Nankai University from 1996 to 1999. Hui Li's education commenced with a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from Nankai University during the period of 1992 to 1996.
