James Harman is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in business development and legal counsel, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at EDL since October 2016. Previously, James held several senior positions at Anglo American from June 2001 to December 2015, including Group Head of Business Development and Senior Vice President of Corporate Finance, after serving in various roles related to business development and strategy. Prior to Anglo American, James was Legal Counsel at Rio Tinto and held positions at Gadens Lawyers and Middletons. James holds a BCom and LLB from UNSW and an LLM in Law from QUT, complemented by training at The College of Law Australia.
