Kris Hansel

Kris Hansel is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law. Currently serving as Sr. Corporate Counsel at Edmentum since October 2021, Kris has received multiple accolades including the 2025 Silver Bullet Award in Technology, the 2025 Bridge Builder Award in Finance, and the 2024 Silver Bullet Award in Product. Prior to this role, Kris was Corporate Counsel at Edmentum, earning a nomination for the 2023 Educator First Award and receiving the 2022 Q4 Ed Award. Previous legal positions include Legal Counsel at SABIS Educational Systems, Inc. and various roles at ACA International, including VP, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary. Kris started a legal career as Corporate Counsel at Menards. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Law (JD) from Mitchell Hamline School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology from the University of Minnesota.
