Nykala Shone is an accomplished marketing professional with extensive experience in the tourism and economic development sectors. Currently serving as the Marketing Accounts Director and formerly as the Campaigns Manager for Explore Edmonton Corporation since July 2017, Nykala has a strong background in consumer marketing and business-to-business strategies, having held key positions at Edmonton Economic Development Corporation. Prior roles include marketing and client relations at the City of Edmonton and various event coordination and social awareness roles at the Students' Association of MacEwan University. Nykala holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing from MacEwan University and a Public Relations Certificate from Simon Fraser University.
